Welcome to Room 4 at Frank Long Intermediate School
Hello to the parents and students of Room 4! Welcome to my class for the 2011 - 2012 school year. There is a lot in store for everyone this year so I hope you're ready! If there is one thing I've learned over the years it's that students love to use technology to learn. When it comes down to it I feel students should learn by using 21st century skills as much as possible.
There is a lot to learn and I look forward to working with all the students of Room 4. Expect to work hard and prepared to challenge yourself. Fourth grade is fun and is also an experience that you'll be sure never to forget! Make sure to eat breakfast and be ready for a fantastic and amazing 2011 - 2012 school year!
I would also like to mention a, "Graphic Organizers" link. Graphic organizers are a great extension to DEAR reading. Once your child completes his or her reading for 20 - 25 minutes, try having them complete a venn diagram or a character trait chart.
