Welcome to Room 4 at Frank Long Intermediate School
| Welcome to Room 4! There has been quite a transition from our previous looking website. Our site has a new fresh look, new and revised links, new activities to check out, and whole bunch of other changes. I have been doing a lot of reading lately and decided it was time. Time to update myself as a teacher and update the way I love to teach, which is with Technology of course! I feel students need to learn by using 21st century skills. If you'd like to read more about me or my vision, you can check out the, "About Mr. Perkins" link. I am in the process of revising parts of the website. I will be adding a, "Graphic Organizers" link to room 4. Graphic organizers are a great extention to DEAR reading. Once your child completes his or her reading for 15 - 20 minutes, try having them complete a venn diagram or a character trait chart. I intend to put up a blank graphic organizer as well as a few samples to help show parents and students what to do.
