Use of Skype in Classroom
Last year, Room 4 had the pleasure of communicating via webcam with two elementary classes. One session was a discussion with 3rd graders about being 4th grade students and the other was a lesson on things we can do to save the world with 1st graders. Both Skype sessions were awesome! What makes skype great is that through the use of webcams students can see other students face to face no matter where the location. It's almost like a field trip in itself.
